What we collect
An email address for your account, a hashed password, and payment metadata from our payment processor (never a full card number). If you contact support, we retain that conversation for two years.
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data Protonou VPN collects, why we collect it and the choices you have. It is written in plain English on purpose.
What we never log
We never store your originating IP address, the sites you visit through the tunnel, DNS queries, timestamps of individual sessions or bandwidth per session. This has been externally audited.
Retention
Account data is kept for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, backups are purged within 30 days.
Your rights
You can export or delete every piece of personal data we hold from your account settings. Users in the EU, UK, California and Switzerland also enjoy the specific rights set out in their local law.
Changes to this policy
Material changes are announced by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
